Today we learned about the four types of sentences and are making sentence posters.

DECLARATIVE -- Makes a statement and ends with a period. Ex: I saw the bird.

INTERROGATIVE -- Asks a question and ends with a question mark. Ex: Did you see the game?

IMPERATIVE -- Gives a command and ends with a period or exclamation point. Ex: Do your homework!

EXCLAMATORY-- A sentence that shows feeling and ends with an exclamation point. Ex: That was so exciting!
